Ambassador Hotel

The Ambassador Hotel originally opened in 1924 as 310 West Church Street Apartments. Designed by one of Atlanta's most prominent architectural firms, it was the first upscale apartments in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. Starting in 1944 the building saw many short lived named changes until 1955 when the building would be named the Ambassador Hotel. In 1997 after multiple code violations and drug busts the building was condemned by the city of Jacksonville

Public School Number Four

Spectre

Annie Lytle Elementary also known as Public School Number Four was built in 1917 and opened in 1918. The school originally overlooked Riverside Park until the completion of the I-95 and I-10 interchange in downtown Jacksonville, Florida. Due to its isolated location underneath the interchange, the school would close for good in 1960.
